The staff here at Silver Jax represents some of the areas most innovative and forward thinking coaches and choreographers!
One thing that makes our staff so unique and effective is that each staff member was once an athlete in our program or a former College Cheerleader. Each staff member attributes some of their best years and defining life moments to Silver Jax and in turn seeks to give that back to the athletes in their care.

You can also take comfort in knowing that each member of our all star staff is certified by the U.S.A.S.F. (Cheerleading's governing body) in levels 1 thru 5.

Coach Chris, AKA House cheered for North Carolina State University where he was the captain for three years. Coach Chris graduated from NC State and moved to the Univeristy of South Carolina where he was a cheerleader for 2 years while earning a graduate degree. He is currently the assistant coach at the University of South Carolina. He is also a former NCA Head Instructor, and Collegiate Instructor who has taught camps across the US, Europe, and Japan.

Coach Scott comes from North Carolina where he has coached for over 28 years and also owned a small chain of cheer gyms. He has coached everything from Middle school to College and Mini All-stars to Level 7 All-stars. His former program has won over 125 national titles and he has choreographed even more. In 2002 he was the assistant choreographer for the Sugar Bowl half time show. He has also assisted over 100 student athletes to receive College scholarships. Of course if asked what his greatest accomplishment was, He would tell you that its His daughter London.

Coach Rutland cheered for University of South Carolina where he was the captain. While a cheerleader, he and his stunt partner Lauren represented USC at the UCA Partner Stunt National Championships in Orlando, Florida. He is currently a teacher, as well as an Assistant Coach at Airport High School.

Austin Weathersby

Austin was a cheerleader at the University of South Carolina where he was the captain for three years. He won multiple competitions, including a National Championship during his time competing on an IOC5 Open Coed team. Previously, Austin was also an instructor with UCA instructor camp instructor.
